The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.
SASSA will probably be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency claimed it's alarmed regarding the high variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area daily. The company stage produced for intervention experiences a large influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, sassa status SASSA will mobilise much more sources to allow the servicing of all clients and boost use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
